Kenyon College is located in Gambier, Ohio, about five miles east of Mount Vernon, Ohio. From South Main Street in downtown Mount Vernon, take Ohio 229 East (East Gambier Street).
To reach Mount Vernon:
From the north or northwest, take Interstate 75 South to Findlay and exit onto U.S. 23/Ohio 15 South. Take 23 South to Ohio 95 East in Marion. Follow 95 East to Ohio 13 South in Fredericktown. Take 13 South to Mount Vernon. Or take Interstate 71 South and exit onto 13 South at Mansfield Follow 13 South to Mount Vernon.
From the east or northeast, take Interstate 71 South and exit on Ohio 13 South at Mansfield. Follow 13 South to Mount Vernon. Or take Interstate 77 South and exit onto U.S. 62 West. Follow 62 to Millwood and exit on U.S. 36 West. Follow 36 to Ohio 308 and turn left (south) onto 308, which leads directly into Gambier.
From the east or southeast, take Interstate 70 West and exit onto Ohio 13 North at Newark. Follow 13 North to Mount Vernon. Or take Interstate 77 North to Interstate 70 West. Follow I-70 West and exit onto 13 North at Newark.
From the west or southwest, take Interstate 71 North from Columbus and exit onto U.S. 36 East. Follow 36 East to Mount Vernon
By Air. Port Columbus International Airport is the closest major airport, approximately one and a quarter hours drive from Gambier. To drive to Kenyon, leave the airport using the main access road. Proceed through two traffic lights, then bear right onto Interstate 670 East and U.S. 62. Exit onto 62 to Gahanna, New Albany, and Johnstown. About ten miles east out of Johnstown, turn left (north) onto Ohio 661 and proceed eleven miles north to Mount Vernon. Turn right on Blackjack Road, then left (north) on 13 and follow 13 to downtown Mount Vernon. From there, turn right (east) from Main Street onto Ohio 229 (Gambier Street) to Gambier.
